Parvo Emergency Tea – What It Is, And What It Is Not
Author: A.Brule
The Canine Parvo virus frequently attacks at the least opportune time (not that there’s ever a good time for your doggy to be stricken by Parvo, of course) – you might find that it is 3:00am in the early hours of a Sunday morning, and the vet’s center is closed.
In which case, what can you do?
You might already be aware that dogs suffering from Parvo in many cases can dehydrate super quick, which explains why vets may very well hook them up to an intravenous drip; however, intravenous drips usually aren’t something you’ll be able to just buy at Walmart.
Just in case you have no idea about the risks associated with lack of fluids, a quick research session online will soon give you the information you’re looking for.
The good news is that there is a hydration therapy you can do at home, which is, in the vast majority of cases, at least as helpful as intravenous fluids and even SubQ fluids …
… and it’s known as the Parvo Emergency Tea Recipe.
What is it?
It’s something you can cook up at home, making use of ingredients you can pick up at nearly all quality supermarkets and/or drug stores, and it is intended to do a number of distinct functions.
For starters, it is an all-natural electrolyte liquid that will help stop your sick pup from dehydrating. (We are aware that lots of people, among them vets, may very well propose administering Gatorade or Pedialyte for this, although our experience indicates that these two products could cause even more vomiting, which is the last issue you will want if your pup is suffering from the Canine Parvo virus.)
Secondly, it may perhaps really help to minimise any throwing up – without any synthetic medicines that can bring about, of course, additional health problems.
Finally, a number of the ingredients in the Parvo Emergency Tea can help enhance your doggy’s immune system, which will be under heavy assault from the Parvo virus.
Now, there are several things you must know about the emergency tea, the most important of which is that you need to give it every single hour, and that really does mean both night and day, up to the point you are able to commence full treatment for the Parvo.
The thing is, you are pretty much behaving just like a human intravenous drip, and one of the most important factors in treating the Canine Parvovirus is almost always to give smallish quantities of liquid frequently – because not only is dehydration a danger with this virus, but so is overhydration too.
But even more crucial than that, you need to understand that the Parvo Emergency Tea is NOT designed to heal the Canine Parvo virus – while it does indeed aim to mimic the Parvaid product by means of easily-obtained items, it’s not even close to being potent enough to help remedy your sick doggie.
You should consequently NOT count on this tea recipe to get your suffering pet better once more – it was made to buy you precious time and sustain him until you can get appropriate treatment plan started (and we would, not surprisingly, highly recommend the Parvo Treatment Kit).
While it is true that a very small number of puppies do appear to survive by using nothing more than the Parvo Tea (together with a great deal of TLC), we’ve found this happens in no more than 0.1% of cases – and that is about one puppy out of every thousand!
Are you prepared to gamble that your pet dog is the one lucky pup in a 1,000?
We certainly wouldn’t – our doggies happen to be much too special to us.
Accordingly, though we would definitely encourage you to make and then administer the Parvo Emergency Tea the instant you become aware of any of the classic Canine Parvo symptoms (i.e. not eating, not drinking, not playing / being lethargic, depression, dehydration, vomiting, diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever or chills), please, for the sake of your doggy, be sure you get him treated at once!
One of our customers had a doggy which passed away only five hours following the very first bout of diarrhea, which just goes to show how aggressive the Canine Parvo virus has become. This is so quick that you hardly have time to respond, which is just one of the reasons we passionately encourage every dog owner to keep a Home Parvo Treatment Kit on hand constantly – just in case.
